Oh, Goodness! 8 Great Things You Will LOVE

Oh, Goodness! 8 Great Things You Will LOVE

It’s been a crazy-busy month, but I’ve been thinking lots about you and wanting to share a whole bunch of goodness with you – programs and products and people I’m just swooning over. So it’s time for a stream-of-consciousness braindump. If you like this little Oh, Goodness! list, let me know over on FB or share the list below. Maybe I’ll make this a regular thing around here. 🙂

courageous heARTS (they need your vote!)

Linking Angels is collecting votes this month to award $100,000 to an up-and-coming nonprofit. I’m rooting for Courageous HeARTS  – a small organization with a huge heart for helping kids heal through art. Please vote for them here (it’s free & super easy).

My Favorite New Movie

I am over-the-moon excited for my soul sister Lori Portka. Today, a beautiful new short film about her was released via Hailey Bartholomew’s 365 Grateful project. Every time I watch it, I cry. Seven minutes of gorgeous gratitude. You have to see it, friends. It will make you want to deeply thank every person you come across today! Watch it, share it, spread the goodwill. Here it is:

Little Love Notes

Speaking of Lori, you’ll also LOVE the brand new Crazy Sexy Love Notes – a deck of inspiring cards by Kris Carr that she masterfully illustrated. Pick a beautiful, encouraging card each morning; such an uplifting way to start the day!

Mermaid Pillows

I’ve been a fan of Kelly Barton’s art for years. Right now, I’m totally swooning over her brand new mermaid throw pillows. Seriously. Could these be cuter??

Flying Lessons

I truly believe every creative entrepreneur needs to experience the magic of Kelly Rae Roberts’ Flying Lessons ecourse. It was a game-changer for me years ago, and today I’m honored to be a contributor to the updated, self-paced version.

The Daily Saint

Do you know about The Daily Saint? It’s kind of like Humans of New York, but every day founder Mikaela features everyday heroes and their random acts of kindness. I find the short stories soooo uplifting and heartwarming; you can follow TDS on Facebook or Instagram so you don’t miss a post.

Empathy For Sale

In case you haven’t heard, Emily McDowell’s new line of Empathy cards are freaking brilliant. The perfect blend of wit, wisdom and compassion for someone facing a serious illness or life challenge.

How To Inspire

Last but not least, I’m having a blast collaborating with Illuminating Souls’ Laurel Bleadon-Maffei on a brand new program called Inspiring Messengers. It’s a six-week course for those who want to make a living by sharing their light. She is so gifted, so smart. Starting June 3rd, the course includes live mentorship calls, a wide variety of resources and video tutorials – including one about creating inspiring graphics that we’ve made available online for FREE today only. Check it out here.

Here’s hoping all kinds of goodness greets you on your path today! xoxo

here’s who i’m spending 2014 with (squeal!!!)

Christmas star ornament

Merry-making is at full tilt around here. Our boys are so excited – love watching them delight in the magic of it all! But gosh, isn’t it shocking to realize 2013 is almost over?

I love the week between Christmas and New Year’s because I intentionally review my year and plan ahead for the next one. It’s so powerful. I’m already buzzing with excitement for 2014 because, for the first time, I’m leading a YEAR-LONG program designed to help brave hearts like you soulfully create your brightest year yet – and be in community with each other, exploring and sharing and adding light to your lives. Project Light Year is going to be amazing.

Project Light Year with Liv Lane and 8 "dream team" contributorsAnd today, my heart is so incredibly full as I get to introduce you to 8 amazing contributors; a virtual dream team of teachers and visionaries, intuitively and artfully helping women create their best lives. And they can teach it because they have lived it; every single one of these women has transformed her life to do what she loves, to grow from grief and hardship, to live with great purpose. Ready to meet them? Drum roll, please…

Lori Portka: Lori is pure light; she is a brilliant artist whose vibrant paintings honor the beauty of life, cultivating “happiness through art.” Her inspiring work around the art of gratitude will play a huge role in Project Light Year; if you don’t know her yet, you will fall in love with her pronto. Promise.

Susannah Conway:  Susannah is an awesome photographer and author who’s led thousands of women around the world through her soulful online classes, dedicated to leveraging creativity and self-reflection for deep healing. Totally pinching myself over her being here.

Leigh Hopkins: After two decades of working in public education reform, Leigh realized her amazing intuitive gifts could be leveraged for another kind of reform: helping women achieve a greater sense of well-being and connection to their intuitive wisdom. As founder and director of Viva Institute, Leigh is a beacon of light for so many; can’t wait for her to help participants step deeper into their inner knowing!

Kelly Rae Roberts: If you’ve stepped into a gift shop in the last several years, chances are you’ve seen Kelly Rae’s life-affirming work, given that she’s one of the most successful licensed artists on the planet. She’s a girl with a deep, giving soul; her art shows it…but I also know it. Her being here is such a gift.

Laurel Bleadon-Maffei: If it weren’t for Laurel, Project Light Year might not even exist! During an intuitive reading with her, I received guidance to bring this idea back to life – the one I’d sketched out but put on hold. I was instantly energized to finish what I’d started – and I knew Laurel had to be part of it. The messages she receives and shares from angels and spirits are beautiful (no wonder over 60,000 people have followed her on Facebook!).

Rachel Awes: Rachel is like a walking rainbow. A gifted psychologist and soulful artist, her work lifts up people from their most vulnerable places and illuminates goodness in all of our journeys. Her words are like silk on your skin and her joy is contagious. Can’t wait for the ways in which she’ll color our year together!

Michelle Stimpson: Michelle is a one-of-a-kind life coach, guiding women through positive change for over a decade with tremendous success. I’ve never met someone with more integrity and with such passion for living life to the fullest. And the ways she manifests magic in her life is so awe-inspiring; prepare to be wowed!

Carissa Paige: I have maintained for years that Carissa is a real-life fairy, feathers and glitter tucked in her knapsack along with her paintbrushes. The way her intuition and dream life lead her through art-making and storytelling mesmerizes me, and her courageous heart inspires me. So thrilled she’ll be sprinkling her fairy dust on all of us throughout 2014!

See what I mean?? Total dream team. If you’re ready to join us for 12 months of magic-making, soul-deepening, intention-creating, spirit-guiding, purpose-finding content and connection, then click here for Project Light Year. Can’t wait to shine bright with you, all year long.

Shedding Shame: Come See Who Floats My Boat

see who floats my boat (diving into affiliate programs)

Today, I’m guest posting over at one of my favorite sites, Kind Over Matter, for Amanda’s Kindness in Business series. I’m shedding a little light (and a lotta love) on a subject – a marketing strategy – that many online entrepreneurs use but don’t like to talk about. I’m hoping it opens up a conversation that needs to be had. Go over here to read it.

I figured the post might make you curious about whom and what I promote as an affiliate. Cool – I’m all for transparency! This entrepreneurial life is a joyful one, but a tricky one, too; there are definitely days I miss that regular paycheck! So, heartfelt THANKS to those who opt to click the links below and purchase from these beauties! If you do, I’ll get a small commission, which is one of the ways I stay afloat in these virtual waters. Here are a handful of peeps and programs I happily support and promote with affiliate marketing. Hope you wind up loving them as much as I do…

CHRISTINE KANE: I stand behind everything Christine Kane does as a “Mentor To Women Who Are Changing the World.” She used to be a frequent guest on my radio show and I lurve her.

FABIENNE FREDRICKSON: I had a great experience diving into a program with client attraction coach Fabienne Fredrickson last winter, so I’m happy to share her empowering work with others. P.S. Tomorrow, she’s hosting a free webinar about her Client Attraction System (yep, that’s an affiliate link…in case you decide to purchase something from her down the road).

KELLY RAE ROBERTS: Three years ago, Kelly Rae Roberts’ Flying Lessons class gave me the confidence I needed to call myself an artist. So I promote her Flying Lessons ebook to anyone looking to spread their creative wings.

AMANDA OAKS/KIND OVER MATTER: As mentioned in my guest post, I’ve been part of several ebooks created by Amanda and just love what this mama puts into the world.

DARREN ROWSE/PROBLOGGER: Even though I teach my own blogging ecourse, I really respect Darren Rowse and love so much of the content provided by his site, ProBlogger. He creates awesome resources for bloggers at all levels.

ANDREA SCHER/SUPERHERO LIFE: I have been part of Andrea’s amazing programs online and in-person. Her photography is gorgeous, her teaching is masterful and her heart is big. P.S. Loving the concept behind her new summer course, Start a Foolish Project!!

SPROUT: Amanda Fall creates a beautiful, soul-stirring online ‘zine each month called Sprout, with themes like Courage and Finding Your Roots plus tons of wonderful contributors. You can peruse the archives here.
